LIGAO CITY—Noel Rosal, the incumbent mayor of Legazpi Metropolis, has gained the gubernatorial seat of Albay province, in accordance with the partial and unofficial results of the native elections issued Monday evening by the Fee on Elections (Comelec).
As of Tuesday morning, Rosal garnered 455,0867 votes, whereas Gov. Al Francis Bichara had 228,745.
In a video live-streamed on Fb, Rosal thanked his supporters for believing in him.
“Thanks, Albayanos. Count on good governance and companies. (I) will prioritize applications for fisherfolk, farmer and agricultural sectors, senior residents, and scholarships for college students,” he stated.
