“Hi there, Love, Goodbye” is the primary collaboration of Bernardo and Richards, who belong to rival networks ABS-CBN and GMA.
The movie follows the story of home helper Pleasure (Bernardo) and bartender Ethan (Richards), each working in Hong Kong. The 2 fall in love with one another regardless of having totally different plans for his or her future.
“Hi there, Love, Goodbye” was directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina. It earned a worldwide gross of over P880 million, making it the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time in 2019. JB
