MANILA, Philippines — A 4.0-magnitude earthquake hit Vintage on Monday night time, in keeping with the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
Phivolcs stated the epicenter of the quake was positioned 69 kilometers (km) northeast of Tibiao, Vintage, and was recorded at 8:49 p.m.
Phivolcs stated that Depth III was felt in Tibiao and Culasi; Depth II in Valderrama; and Depth I in San Jose de Buenavista all in Vintage province.
State seismologists stated the temblor was tectonic in origin and had a depth of solely 5 km.
Phivolcs stated no infrastructure or property harm and aftershocks could also be anticipated from the earthquake.
